Dalat - Getting There

Vietnam Airlines operate daily flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Taxis and motorcycles operate between Dalat airport and the city 30km away. Regular bus services run to Dalat from Danang, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Boun Ma Thout and Pleiku.

Places to Eat

Food stalls and restaurants in Dalat all make use of the freshly picked local vegetables and fruits and offer some excellent food. In late afternoon the area Nguyen Thi Minh Khai turns into a large open air food fare selling local cuisine. European food can be found at the La Tulipe Rouge Restaurant on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Thanh Thanh on Tang Ba Ho. The upmarket Thuy Ta Restaurant is built on piling over Xuan Houng Lake. Try the Vietnamese food at Nhu Hai Restaurant in front of the central market building or Doung A Restaurant on Phan Dinh.
